Well, its November 2nd, and I am already longing for Christmas: The intoxicating lights, the chill of the winter breeze, the fragrance of fresh Douglas Firs, the joyous sounds of Christmas tunes, the love that seems to supplant all else, the happiness and courtesy that fills the cold dry air, the soft flickering flames of the fireplace, eggnog, Christmas carols, family, friends, giving, warm winter sweaters and beanies. I love Christmas. I have talked to many people, and most think that I am weird because I will break out my Christmas music and buy my Christmas trees in mid-November. Some get a bit freaked out when the see that the Christmas tree part is plural, but I don’t see any other way to go. When the Christmas season (which is upon us whether you like it or not) comes about it fills me with such joy and happiness. To me, it seems that the best of everyone comes out during this season. Sure, there are the scrooges out there, but for the most part, everyone seems to be a little bit more happy and a little bit more giving. I hope we all experience the ecstasy of this holiday season and everything that encompasses it.

That’s my Ryan, I’m going to miss you around the house this year, Santa. Who’s going to put up those outdoor lights and get me the lastest Christmas music? Have fun decorating your TREES! Love You

There will be plenty of me at the house this year…Hanging out with family is one of the best parts about Christmas.
