There are a lot of new things around here, and I wanted to explain a bit of the new features and additions to the blog. First, on the top right section of the page there is a blue colored section that says: “Featured this week”. Last week I had a link to a video done by Sarah McLachlan. If you didn’t check it out, go check it out now. I will be having links to various items that intrigue me, cause me to ponder, as well as entertainment me.
I also have music, DVD and book links. I finally figured out how to link to the itunes music store. Most of the cd’s that are listed on the site link directly to the cd on the itunes music store so you can listen to the tracks and see if you like it for yourself.
In an attempt to save space and make things a little more neat, I have added the “read the rest of this post” link at the end of each post. When you go to the site, you will initially only see the first paragraph or so of each post. If you want finish reading the rest of the post, you can click on “read the rest of this post” and you will see the rest of the post. Revolutionary, huh?
Comments are also new and improved. When you click on “comment”, you will see the entire post, everyone’s comments, and then the area where you will be able to post your own comment. There is also a “recent comment” section on the sidebar where each time someone posts a comment, their name and the post they commented to will show up on the sidebar.
The last bit of exciting editions is the “pictures” section. This is small at the moment, but hopes are to make this into an ever changing and growing section of photos for everyone to view. You can click on any photo and it will take you to a screen where you can view the picture in a larger format as well as leave comments if you are so inclined.
My hopes are that more and more people will begin to share their own thoughts and questions, not only in this space, but in a space of their own. We all have something to learn from each other, and if we never share, others are being deprived of God’s wisdom which dwells uniquely in each of us. Much love to those who continually read and respond to my weak attempts at communicating, and to those who continue to stretch my thinking through writings of your own.

Where’s the itunes tracks? Are you planning to provide a link displaying what’s “playing now”?
