Quick Update

Yesterday, I began to write for the first time in a couple of weeks, and when I went to publish my post, Blogger deleted it. Well, after a slap in the face from Blogger, I am here again, hoping the words I type remain on this page and don’t become the product of a blogger glitch.

Anyways, Christmas was very relaxing. I mostly sat around on various couches and enjoyed the serenity of the season with many family members. I had a whole week off from work after Christmas, most of which was spent sitting on my own couch with my wife watching movies. During my hiatus from sharing in this space, many things have been on my mind, one of which is the appalling tragedy of the Indian Ocean tsunami’s. When the death toll piles up to over 156,000 human lives, words suddenly become meaningless as I try to process this utter disaster. I feel motionless as I start to think of the children, fathers, mothers, friends, uncles, cousins, wives, husbands, co-workers that have been stricken with this disaster. God, would your love and life be with the people hit by this tragedy.

Thanks to everyone that has contributed and been a part of this small community this past year. Your thoughts and passions are encouraging to all. I pray that this year brings more people to this space as we continually shape and are being shaped by each other through the raw awakenings of our soul.
