Many people probably wont care to read this, but if you do decide to indulge you might find out a little bit of who I am.

My Life in General

My real name is Ryan Richard Myers. I came into this world on December 26 1982 in Santa Barbara California and was born to the parents of Annie and Gregory Myers. About a year and a half later my parents gave me a brother: Thomas James Myers (T.J.), and another 2 years after that they gave me and T.J. a sister: Rachel Ann Myers. After finishing high school, I went to Santa Barbara City College where after 3 years I graduated with an associates degree in Business Administration. I am currently working on my bachelors degree in liberal studies with an emphasis on business management at Antioch University. On June 18, 2004 I was married to my beautiful wife Heather and we currently reside in Santa Barbara California. My wife is currently pregnant with our first child (due sometime in December 2006). We are blessed to have both our families in such close proximity (mine: a short 4 mile drive; hers: an even shorter 2 miles). I am apart of a people called aqueous who collect every Saturday evening in Isla Vista California to share life and worship together.

My Life in Random

There are many items and aspects that make me different from another person. Following is just some random and probably useless information about what makes me, me. Not deep or profound in any way, just me.

• I love music. A guy name Aldous Huxley said something once that makes sense to me: “After silence that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.” For a complete and updated list of my favorite musical artist and albums, click the link in the sidebar: “Favorite Music”
• I really like paintings because just like film and music, it is a way to communicate a thought or an idea through the abstract allegory. I am not a genius and I don’t always understand what is trying to be said through a piece of art, but nonetheless, I still enjoy viewing them.
• I am a pretty picky eater and I get a bad rap for it a lot mostly because I am not a huge fan of Mexican food, although I do enjoy a good burrito or taquito from time to time.
• I’m a gigantic fan of tattoo’s. I like looking at them on people, and I like getting them. I don’t actually like most of the “getting them” part; the pain for instance I am not a huge fan of.
• I absolutely love Christmas and the whole season that surrounds it. The smells, the sights, the trees and lights; the joy, the friends, the shopping and trends (I feel like Dr. Seuss).
• Probably the weirdest thing to ever happen to me is the time when some random guy threw a brick at me and my friend…
• I am currently playing music with my brother, my brother in law, and a good friend.
