It seems like every day I fall deeper and deeper into the comforting and warming heart of Christmas. I walk into my office every morning welcomed by my mini-tree with golden lights and purple ornaments (hung by paperclips), and I am filled with a sense that everything is going to be alright. I wish you could all see my office Christmas tree…maybe I will take some pictures and post them. Christmas feels like it has come so fast. There is less than two weeks till Christmas, and I wish there were still a month. Before I know it, this season will be over, the trees and lights and decorations will be back in their boxes, and I will have to wait a whole 11 months for this time. While the we are in the midst of the season, here is some more holiday fun and cheer for you all to enjoy:

That video is bloody brilliant. Nothing says Christmas like two dudes sharing a guitar. Thank you for helping me find my Christmas spirit.

Yeah Mario, I can’t think of anything that screams christmas more than two men playing a double neck guitar at the same time, except for maybe a singing robot. What the heck is the singer wearing?!?!!

That video will be in my Christmas dreams tonight! Very profound lyrics, and yes, the two guys on one guitar was sweet.
Why don’t you start a new trend and set up for Christmas after Labor Day weekend? It would give you many more weeks of holiday fesitivities…

Sarah! That is a brilliant idea! I thought something might have happened to you cause you havent been emailing, blogging or commenting for a while. Hope you are doing okay in Italia. We miss you. You need to start posting some more on your blog…

No, I’m here and well! Just haven’t been online very much lately. But there is a new blog up, inspired in part by your latest (thoughts, not the Darkness video). Miss you too! Thanks for your comments on my flickr pics too!!
OK so on Labor Day 2006 I will be at your door with Christmas decorations in hand, ready to start the holiday festivities.

Yes!!! Just looked at your Netflix movies in the sidebar and saw you are watching Die Hard-best Christmas movie ever!! Nothing celebrates the birth of Jesus better than a bloody limping (and hot) Bruce Willis.

That has to be the cheesiest video ever!! I think my ears are bleeding! I also think that those guys were enjoying playing the guitar together. Nice touch Ryan! Love it!

Labor Day sounds great…so does that mean you are going to be back in SB by then?…hmmmmmmmmm. Yeah, I have never seen Die Hard before, and I thought to myself “tis the season.” By the way, Bad Santa is horrible. Please do not see it…utter rubish.

Rubbish, huh? Sounds like you’ve been hanging out with those Brits again! So what did you think of Die Hard? Isn’t Bruce Willis hot when he is all sweaty and bloody? As for Labor Day, I wouldn’t miss your Christmas kick-off party for the world!

You should have rented Badder Santa. Which is closer to the director’s original vision. In the unrated version he is free to deeper explore the social differences between races and the coital habits of costumed seasonal employees.

Sarah, haven’t seen Die Hard yet, though it is on my list of things to do in the next couple of days (once I stop worrying about what I am going to say on Saturday when I speak at “the A”). Mario, it actually was Badder Santa the unrated version, and yes…it still did suck.

God that song is catchy! Hey Ryan. Will you play guitar with me?
