Hope that everyone is settling in more and more as the kinks in this site are being worked out. Just thought that I would take a couple seconds here to let you all know of some “features” that this blog provides. My site has a couple of “feeds” available. Feeds are ways in which to keep track of updates on your favorite blogs, news sites, etc. I have two RSS feeds: (1) for my comments; and (2) for my posts. You can click on the little orange icon to the right of the “Comments” or “Latest” section to get the corresponding RSS feed. You can then copy the url of the feed to your favorite RSS reader such as Bloglines or Feedreader to be notified of all updates. If you have any questions to how this works, please feel free to email me and I can explain further.

Check out the Activism page where people can share how they are being activists in their own communities. You can also check out the Aqueous page where there will (hopefully) be the most up to date podcasts that you can download directly or be taken to the itunes music store to listen.

As always, you can check out my most recent photos by going to the Photos page or clicking on a photo in the sidebar.  Besides the list of “Addictions” in my sidebar, you can also go to a couple of new pages on the About page that I have created and will update regularly: Favorite Music, Favorite Films, and Books.  They pretty much speak for themselves.  Right now they are kind of all jacked up, but I hope to fix them soon.

  1. Looking good Ry. Like the new headers. Thanks for this post. As we try to encourage more Aqueous people to blog (or more people in general for that matter) I think we need more information out there like this that shows people how easy it is to subscribe to RSS feeds etc. If you only go to a blog randomly when you navigate to it, you waste a lot of time. Feeds rock. BTW, have you checked out cocoment.com? It will automatically create feeds for posts to which you are commenting. Additionally, you can have the comments you are making elsewhere displayed on your blog. (See my sidebar.)

  2. Yeah, I do know about cocomment. It is pretty sweet. I have an account. So for any of you out there who dont have a blog and dont want a blog, you can have your own page of just blogs you have commented on. Quite cool actually!
