Update

Coming up for air…Life has been busy. Lots of beginnings and endings. Lets talk about the endings first shall we:

Last week I finished my first quarter at Antioch. It was a lot of work, but it was really good. Aside from work, school dominated my every waking moment, thus the lack of blogging. The other ending is my job. I gave notice to my bosses on Wednesday of last week. I didnt know how they would take it, but they ended up taking it really well. With that I give you the beginings:

1) With the ending of my current job, comes the birth of another: Citrix Online in Goleta, CA. Citrix offers web based access, support and collaboration software and services. One of their biggest products is called GoToMyPC. Anyways, I will be the Administrative Coordinator for Web Operations…not sure of what that actually means yet, but I will find out on the 26th. 2) Heather and I, along with my entire family, are going on a cruise to the Bahamas. We will be leaving this Saturday the 17th and coming back on Sunday the 25th.  I can’t wait. I have been so busy with all of my transition and busy-ness that I am in desperate need of a little R&R. It will be great to actually read some books that I want to read (besides text-books), hang out with my wife and family, and just kick back by the pool. 3) The band that I have been working with for the past 6 months, Vox Veritas, is having its debut show. We have been writing and practicing for the past 6 months and we are ready (hopefully) to be released into the wild. We just finished recording our 5 song EP and are in the process of mixing it. We will be releasing it at our debut show on the 30th of this month. We are inviting our friends and family to this event, and you can find out more about it at our website, blog, and myspace page. 4) Lastly, I am getting more and more excited about the baby. We got to hear her/his heartbeat and see the little bugger a couple weeks ago. It was amazing! I can’t wait to become a father!
