    Cool Pics!

  2. nice shots. When there is a new kid in the house a new camera is always needed. Now Now all you need is a proper photo blog.

  4. Thanks guys. Im not a photographer by any stretch…I just love taking photos.

  5. Great photos. I found your blog by searching for Nikon D40. I just got one too. I’m by no stretch a photographer, but I’m trying to learn. I’m having a heck of a time finding any good resources on this camera. Have you found any? TIA.

  6. RLGerber,

Thanks for stopping by. I am by no stretch a photopgrapher either, but I just love taking pictures (especially now with my D40). As far as a good resource, do you have a flickr account? If not, I would highly recommend creating an account with them. I have been uploading to flickr for over 2 years now. Go to http://www.flickr.com. They have a free account which is limited where you can upload some photos, but then you can pay 39 bucks per year and get unlimited uploads/bandwidth etc. A couple of weeks ago I joined a D40 group on flickr. You can find it here: http://flickr.com/groups/d40slr/ This group has turned into a great resource where people talk about accessories, you can ask questions, and people give you tips. Its great for beginners like you and I. Let me know if you do that.
