An interesting post from Moby on club life. I think his critique is more on the people rather than the club…but you be the judge. Let us know what you think.

“as i was leaving aforementioned loud/annoying club and watching:
a-bankers hitting on fashion publicists
b-underage girls throwing up while their friends hold/held their hair
c-everyone texting/emailing looking to get laid before the night was over
d-white people dancing poorly to hip hop from 1986
i wondered to myself:
‘are we really all so desperate to perpetuate our genetic lineage that we’re willing to subject ourselves to these sort of institutional and expensive degradations?’”

    similar; putting it out there in a very shallow way really. But can you really talk to the same person face to face with out the set up?

    Sounds like Moby had a trancendent moment there, pondering the meaning of life in a moderatly meaningful place.
    Doesn’t his consciousness of the single cell catipult him above the definition? Leads to questions about God. How can one who is two dimensional have the awareness of a third?
    Yes, Moby, ther’s more to life than getting layed.
